These tools help prepare accurate clinical notes and clinic letters by assisting with medical dictation and documentation.

Why we use AI-assisted documentation

These tools help us:

• improve documentation accuracy

• reduce time spent typing during consultations

• allow greater focus on patient interaction

• improve communication with GPs, physiotherapists, hand therapists, insurers, and ACC where appropriate

Privacy and confidentiality

Your health information remains confidential and is handled in accordance with New Zealand privacy requirements.

AI-assisted documentation tools are used only to support clinical documentation and communication directly related to your care.

Your choice

If you do not want AI-assisted documentation tools used during your consultation, please let reception or your specialist know before your appointment.

Choosing not to use these tools will not affect your care.
