An average high school swimmer performs 1 to 2 million strokes annually with each arm, leading to overuse conditions. This is made worse with incorrect techniques.
Most cardio exercises put a lot of stress on the lower limb. Quite the dilemma when you need to keep fit and lose weight to relieve your joints but cannot persist because your joints hurt too much. There are certain exercises which still allow for a good cardiovascular workout without stressing your joints as much.
